Toilets and the Reverend Green

For those of you not on the mailing list (all aboard, we're about to depart)... just wanted to let you know that I've just released an Exclusive Download EP here on the site, featuring the songs from 'The life of the Toilet Tour Part I' and also a couple of bonus tracks for good measure.  I plan to make this the start of a deluge of material that's been biting at the bite to get out into the open fields.  To be honest I'm not completely sure why I've played my cards so close to my chest... Paul Buchanan of the Blue Nile,  always keeps his course work to himself, and I've always admired it.  He only releases stuff that he deems to be entirely worthy of release.  I feel like my opinion is changing though, feel like I might just be alright with releasing an incoherent collection of songs, just so that they're out of my way, off my desk, making room for new stuff.  Like pruning a rose bush.

..well... it remains to be seen...till then:

Meanwhile, on the other side of the ranch... I'm going to see the Reverend Al Green tonight at the Hammersmith Apollo.  He played last night in the Royal Albert Hall and a few friends went along, and said it was outrageously good!  I'll keep you posted....

Enjoy Al Green Foy - if you've not seen him before you're in for a good'un. Quite the character, and of course the music is something else

Foy! About time you released some new stuff, can't wait to hear it, my copy is already ordered. You planning any gigs up north? Hope you're well. Baz

Foy, i'm not sure if this is the best way to contact you or not but anyway... I absolutly love your music, after reading an article about you in the Independant I got some videos of you on You Tube and then went out the next day to buy your album. The problem is that I was going to New Zealand for 2 months the next week so I missed all your concerts in Ireland. 'Hope' is my soundtrack for that holiday and I couln't stop listening to it. I got very sick while I was there and your music helped my through some of the worst days in my life. I was wondering when you might be playing in Dublin next because I would love to go. I see your shooting your Video for 'Be with me' this month so I e-mailed Mike just there! I would love to hear back from you if you get a minute, Thanks Foy. Karl

Foy, cheers for finnally providing me with the opportunity to purchase 'When You Still Walked With Me'... I'm not usually one for new fangled things like 'downloads!?' but for this tune alone I'm willing to break the mould. Pure genius. Keep it coming fella you're doing us proud.
